2018 – 2019 Governor Elect Robin Meyer

Robin Meyer has been a member of the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club for 17 years. She has been employed by the Denton Noon Kiwanis Club as the club’s Executive Secretary and as the Director of the Denton Kiwanis Children’s Clinic for 18 years. She was named Denton Noon Kiwanis Club’s Kiwanian of the Year in 2012 and in 2013 was presented with the Women In Kiwanis Award.

Robin is a two-time Lt. Governor having served in Division 39 in 2011-2012 and Division 8 in 2014-2015 and was named Most Valuable Lt. Governor 2012-2013. She has also served as Division S’s secretary for a number of years. She is in the original class of Trustees for the Texas-Oklahoma District, Region 5, having served a 3-year term. Robin has also served on the T-O District Disaster Relief Team since its inception in 2012 and has previously served as the Chair of the Disaster Relief Committee for 2 years. Robin has also served on the District’s Formula Team as a Club Counselor. She is a lifetime member of the Past Lt. Governors Association.

Robin grew up in Aubrey, Texas and currently resides outside of Sanger, Texas with her husband Bo. She has one son, Ryan-30, and four step-children. Robin also has her “fur­babies”, horses, dogs and a cat. She is an advocate of saving America’s wild mustang horses and prevention of cruelty to animals.

Kiwanis is a family affair for Robin and her family as her uncle is a 40-year member of Kiwanis in Ramona, California, her father is a 16-year Kiwanian in Denton, her son Ryan joined the Denton club the day he turned 18, as well as her husband having been a member of the club.
