Past  Governor Patrick Schibi

Patrick Schibi has been a member of the Lawton Kiwanis for 27 years. He was the Kiwanis Advisor to the Eisenhower Key Club for 17 yrs. He was a Distinguished President of the Lawton Kiwanis Club. He was a Regional Advisor for the Texas-Oklahoma District of Key Club International for 7 years and also served as the Assistant Administrator for 6 of the 7 years. Patrick was the District Administrator for the Texas-Oklahoma District of Key Club International for 3 years and was inducted in the T-O Hall of Fame in 2012. He was a Distinguished Lt. Governor in 2007 and was in the original class of Trustees for Texas-Oklahoma District serving Region 4 last year.

Patrick is dedicated to the youth of the T/O District and growing membership in the district. He intends to continue the District’s focus on the Eliminate Project, the Formula and the I-Plan. He believes our youth are our future and we need to grow membership in Kiwanis to be able to continue to mentor our youth in leadership and service. “ He has often said, “With Kiwanis, it is all about the FAMILY.”

Patrick grew up in Enid Oklahoma where his father was a longtime Kiwanis member. He has been married to his wife Sandy for 34 years, has three children, Ciera-30, John-29, and Joseph-26. Joseph was the Key Club International Vice President in 2007-2008.

Patrick is the Executive Vice President of Liberty National Bank of Lawton Oklahoma where he has worked for 18 years. He has been a banker for 37 yrs. and has a Graduate Degree in Banking from the Colorado Graduate School of Banking.

Patrick served on the Long-Range Planning Committee for 2012-2015, chairing the Fabric of Kiwanis sub-committee. He is a lifetime member of the Past Lt. Governors Association and has served as their Treasurer since 2012.

Patrick has been a deacon in his church, and a Gideon for 25 yrs. He has served the Lawton community serving on the United Way, Goodwill, Red Cross, Juvenile Detention, Lawton-Ft. Sill Co-Op boards and is currently the President of the Lawton YMCA.
