The Women in Kiwanis (WIK) Assistance Fund was started by Governor Susan Hennum in 2011-2012 to commemorate 25 years of Women in Kiwanis. The fund is held within the Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation to provide partial and matching awards to students in Key Club and CKI to attend leadership development and training conferences.
This program also received some income from Governor Ann Wilkins 2012-2013 and then in 2014-2015, Governor Colleen Biggerstaff once again made it a major platform. Our 2023-2024 Governor Dr. Kathy Culbertson chose to highlight Women in Kiwanis making it one of her main goals to endow the scholarship. Current Governor Bobby Quinten has continued with Women in Kiwanis for his term.
