The Women in Kiwanis (WIK) Assistance Fund fund was started by Governor Susan Hennum in 2011-2012 to commemorate 25 years of Women in Kiwanis. The fund is held within the Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundations to provide partial and matching scholarships to students in Key Club and CKI to attend leadership development and training conferences.
As Governor-elect in 2022, Dr. Kathy Culbertson chose to make expanding the Women in Kiwanis fund a priority to ensure more students have access to opportunities to grow as leaders and to commemorate 35 years of Women in Kiwanis. Donating to the fund through one of the giving programs is the perfect way to support young leaders in the district and recognize the women in your club and division!
